چکیده
The injection from a well to other wells can be difficult in extralow-permeability oil reservoirs. In order address this issue, method of cyclic huff-n-puff with surfactants based on complex fracture networks for single horizontal was proposed and then investigated terms the effects parameters recovery water-wet models. Firstly, interfacial tension (IFT) contact angle different surfactant concentrations were measured determine basic properties surfactants. Then, experiments at threshold pressures soaking time carried out increasing analyze pore-scale (micropores, mesopores, macropores) mechanisms by combining technology nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), which showed that increased pressure mostly mesopores macropores, while micropores. Eventually, distributions conducted six plate-fractured models investigate surfactants, primary fracture, secondary each cycle huff-n-puff. Cyclic assisted including both fractures would bring higher recovery. However, methods should taken after several cycles due rapid reduction cycle. findings provide meaningful guide development

An Experimental Investigation of Feasibility of Gas Huff and Puff for Recovering Crude Oil with Different Viscosities
Investigating multi cyclic gas (N2 and CO2) huff and puff have been conducted by long sandpack simulations with four different crude oils from Jiangsu oilfield. According to the production differential pressure and the production regularity during huff and puff, the production process was divided into three sections; the first one is free gas production section; the second section is low viscou...

15 صفحه اولA new investigation on modeling of permeability reduction during CO2 flooding processes in sandstone oil reservoirs
Permeability reduction in oil reservoirs during primary oil recovery and using the enhanced oil recovery methods are complicated problem which most of the oil field in worlds has encountered. In this work, a modified model based on four phase black oil model (oil, water, gas, and asphaltene) was developed to account permeability reduction during CO2 flooding in cylindrical coordinates around a ...
متن کاملIntegrating Embedded Discrete Fracture and Dual-Porosity, Dual-Permeability Methods to Simulate Fluid Flow in Shale Oil Reservoirs
Abstract: The oil recovery factor from shale oil remains low, about 5 to 7% of the oil in place. How to increase oil recovery from shale oil reservoirs is attracting more and more attention. CO2 huff-and-puff was historically considered one of the best approaches to improve the oil rate. Most previous simulation studies have been based on dual porosity, but simulation results from dual-porosity...
متن کامل3d Analysis of Huff and Puff and Injection Tests in Geothermal Reservoirs
Heat extraction from deep, hot rocks for energy production is based on water circulation through a man made fracture or natural fractures. As multiple and non-planar fractures in a stress field affect the geothermal reservoir behavior, so the capability to simulate multiple fractures and joints is needed to help reservoir design and operation. A 3D model is developed in this work to simulate an...
